Has your dog got a lot to learn?
Does he need to lose some bad habits?
If you have a problem with your dog or cat’s behaviour or want to avoid any problems in the future we can help you. Olivia Naisbitt, our behaviourist/trainer and her associate Helen Beesley run puppy socialisation classes, one to one training sessions and take behaviour referrals.
Olivia Naisbitt has many years’ experience working with a wide range of problem behaviours, taking referrals from many local veterinary surgeries as well as those from Springbok Veterinary Group. She also tutors regularly in animal behaviour. Helen Beesley has worked alongside Jo both at Springbok and at a previous surgery so is very experienced in handling dogs and training.
The most common problems that they provide help for include anti-social behaviour, separation related disorders, and training problems such as recall, and general good manners.
The Puppy Club is held on a Monday evening at the Three Cross Surgery at 7pm. It is run on a roll on – roll off basis but the numbers are strictly limited so that every puppy has the opportunity to learn in a non-stressful but fun environment. Topics covered include house training, mouthing, health checks, preventative care, learning theory, neutering, feeding and any other problems the owners may be having. All members of the family are welcome to join in.
